About Us
Love Learning Explorers started with a simple belief: strong foundations matter. But over the years, we learned something critical—you can't build a love of learning on top of emotional fragmentation.
So in Fall 2026, we rebuilt.
We redesigned our entire program around the whole child. Each day has a distinct learning philosophy, from Socialization Stations that build peer-to-peer connection, to Project-Based Learning that tackles real-world problems, to Wellness Wednesdays that support emotional resilience. Our instructors—certified, experienced educators—create safe, inspiring spaces where students develop academic confidence, social skills, and genuine curiosity all at once.
Through Discovery Coves, skill-building electives, guided homeschool partnerships, and rigorous core academics, we've built something intentional and cohesive. The result: learners who don't just know things. They love learning.

Meet our Team
Coach Jen
For 26 years, teaching has been both my profession and my purpose. I began my career in New York, and when I moved to Florida in 2019, I carried that same passion for education with me. I believe in teaching kids how to think, not what to think — nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, non-cookie-cutter experiences. My classroom is built on connection, curiosity, and the belief that every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of greatness. I especially love teaching anatomy and physiology, showing students how every part of the body depends on another — and how that same idea of interdependence shapes our relationships with each other and the world. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me traveling, at the gym with my fiancé John, or playing with our puppies — any day with sand between my toes and good company is a great one. Fun fact: I'm also a professional bodybuilder who skydives for fun! I'm so excited to be the Captain of this journey, guiding each child toward their best self.
Charmaine
Hi! I'm Charmaine, and I've been teaching and working with children since 2009. As a middle school counselor, I spent several years teaching social-emotional learning, life skills, and academic success strategies while helping students build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships. What excites me most about teaching here is bringing that counseling background into the classroom — I love helping children build confidence, develop social-emotional skills, and discover a love of learning. My teaching style is engaging, encouraging, and student-centered; I believe learning should be hands-on, interactive, and fun, while helping every child grow in confidence and independence. Outside the classroom, you'll find me at Burn Boot Camp before sunrise, volunteering with EmpowHERment, spending time with family and friends, or exploring new restaurants and beaches. I love to travel and explore places rich in history and culture — Matera, Italy is one of my favorite discoveries yet! I'm originally from the Boston area and now call Florida home with my husband (a U.S. Coast Guard veteran), our two daughters, and our Maltipoo, Milo. I can't wait to get to know each child and family in our community!
Lori
My path to teaching wasn't a straight line, and I think that's what makes me the teacher I am today. I started in social work, helping people with HIV and AIDS manage their medications and daily lives, then became a Day Treatment Supervisor teaching life and vocational skills to adults with disabilities. When my husband and I started planning for kids, I went back to school for my Master's in ESE. Since then, I've taught middle school for six years, spent a year in an elementary EBD classroom, and most recently served as the Inspired Farming Coordinator at Autism Inspired Academy. I love project-based learning that lets students problem-solve and use their creativity — it helps them grow academically and socially. My favorite subject is science, because it's always changing as we learn new things (when I was a student, we still had 9 planets!). In my free time, I'm hanging out with my amazing family, gardening, fostering kittens, reading, camping, or traveling — and I love to tap dance! Fun fact: my son has autism, and it's a big part of why I'm so passionate about this community.
Morgan
I started teaching over ten years ago as a paraprofessional and later earned my Master's in Elementary Education in Chicago, where I'm from. Since then, I've worked as a resource teacher, a self-contained teacher, a behavior specialist, and for the last five years, a visual arts specialist for grades K-5. Most of my work has been with small groups, which has let me build close, meaningful relationships with my students — and I'm so excited to jump back into a wonderful community like this one. I love teaching art most of all because it opens up new ways of learning and creating. My teaching style is easygoing and supportive; I believe every student can succeed with the right support. Outside of school, I'm a local artist myself — I paint, make jewelry, and love being out in nature, cooking, and spending time with family. My favorite travel spot is the Blue Mountains in Jamaica. Fun fact: I love finding beauty in mistakes — that's actually how some of my favorite art happens! I'm so excited to be part of this community and can't wait to meet everyone.
Types of Homeschooling
Homeschooling models come in many shapes and sizes, as every family's needs and goals are different. Unschooling is a model where children are free to pursue their natural curiosities, while worldschooling takes learning out of the classroom and into the world. Traditional homeschooling requires more structure and planning, while still allowing for some flexibility.
With the right support and resources, each of these models can be successful. Fortunately, there are many homeschooling support networks available, both online and in-person, to help families make the best decisions for their children.
