What services do you provide?

We combine the best of homeschooling and private schooling by offering supplemental learning pods and classes to help fill whatever gaps are needed at home. We offer both morning and afternoon lessons year-round.  We also provide time for socialization and extracurricular activities.

How much does it cost?

All of our pricing is listed on our schedule.  The price of each class/group varies depending on the supplies needed for the class.  In general, most of our classes average to about $11 per hour plus any supply fees.  Our small group pricing can range anywhere from $15-$30 per hour.

Do you offer discounts or scholarships?

We are direct providers for Step-up FES UA and PEP scholarships.

We do not currently accept FES EO scholarship.

What ages do you serve?

We offer various classes for ages 5+ throughout the day.  We have several teachers working at the same time in order to divide students into age-appropriate groups so that students are learning with their peers.

How many students will be in the class?

We have a maximum of 10 students per instructor. We also have teacher helpers to assist teachers in the classroom.

Do parents have to be there the whole time?

No, we are a drop off learning center. You're free to wait in the parent waiting area but you do not have to stay after signing your child in.

What happens if we can't commit to the full pod term?

We understand one of the best aspects of homeschooling is the flexibility to travel with your children.  This is why we provide weekly homework that can be done from anywhere.  We also provide Friday online make-up classes for math and language arts lessons for those enrolled in the Monday and Tuesday morning PODs.

Contact us for more information.

What curriculum do you use?

All our teachers are Florida certified instructors with years of classroom experience. That means they cater their lesson plan to the student, understanding their needs and accommodations.

How do you group the students?

We do not group children by age but by level.  We have 5 levels:

Kindergarten

Early Elementary

Late Elementary

Early Middle School

Late Middle School/Early High School

We also provide several classes and a study hall environment for all levels of high school.

Do you provide evaluations?

We provide evaluations for students who currently attend Love Learning.  Please contact us to set up a day and time!

Do you help keep a portfolio?

We do! All the work that students complete during their time in the pod is saved in their individual folder. We give all of the student work back to parents at the end of each semester.  In addition, teachers provide notes after each tutoring session, class, and POD. These notes can be accessed in the Tutorbird system and can be saved for your portfolio.

Are there any supplies needed?

For certain classes like PERT or study hall, we ask that students bring their laptop or tablet if they have one. Otherwise, if the class has a supply fee, it will be listed. Students are welcome to bring snacks and it is recommended. We have several severe tree nut-allergies and are a nut free zone (sunflower butter is ok).

When do classes start?

Love Learning is open year-round! Students are allowed to join at the beginning of any of the 8-week sessions.  See our calendar and dates here
