Social Skills on the Spectrum

Ages 5-8

​Aimed at students on the Autism Spectrum or those needing additional support developing age-appropriate social skills. We will focus on building knowledge about initiating and developing meaningful relationships with others. Students will focus on one type of social skill per week and learn through direct instruction, visual supports, and opportunities to practice skills with guidance.

Dr. Seuss with Ms. Erica

Ages 5-7

Hooray for a Diffendoofer class all about the books of Dr. Seuss! We will read a Dr. Seuss book in each class and work on language and creative craft skills based on ideas from the story. "When you try something new, there's no limit to what you can do!"

Chess with Coach Timotey

Ages 8+

Play chess and have fun while making friends! Chess master Timotey will help students at all levels improve their chess skills and provide opportunities to compete against each other.

Creative Sketching & Journaling with Ms. Brittany

Ages 10+

Students will make their own journal using a variety of materials both new and recycled. Each class, students will be given prompts to respond to both in words/writing and art making or given the option to choose their own topic or continued entry. Creative expression through words and images will be strongly encouraged!

Beginner Spanish with Ms. Tara

Ages 7+ (Must be able to read and write)

Learn the basics of speaking, listening, writing, and reading in Spanish with fun games and interactive activities!

Spiderwick Chronicles Book Study Part 1 with Ms. Brittany

Ages 8+ (Must read at 600+ lexile)

Students will read The Spiderwick Chronicles and complete a variety of extension activities along the adventure!

This fall will focus on books 1-3 and the 2008 movie.  Books 4-5 will be read in the Spring.

Math Study Hall with Ms. Kathy

Ages 10+

Are you sick of pestering your kids to finish their IXL math homework? Do they want more support with their PERT math? Join Ms. Kathy as she provides extra support on your math work! #nomorewhining

Conservation with Ms. Erica

Ages 7+ (Must be able to read and write)

Discover a brighter future through conservation! Learn about land, water, plant and biodiversity conservation and ways you can help.

Typing Tutor and Presentation Skills with Ms. Brittany

Ages 8+ (Must be able to read and write)

Students move at their own pace, with adaptive lessons built in for extra practice with troublesome keys. The curriculum we will use includes cross-curricular lessons, digital literacy practice, and coding basics. All levels welcome!
